Paul Crespel started as a news photographer in 1975, and his images featured regularly in countless newspapers worldwide until he gave up photography in 1997 to pursue other paths.  Paul started again in 2011, after a fourteen year break from photography, and now his exhibitions of Street Photography travel far and wide, attracting massive audiences.  His last exhibition in Milan saw over a million visitors.

Paul Crespel is an Irish citizen.  He moved to Italy in 2001, and has been producing spontaneous images of street scenes in Italy since 2012.  Paul Crespel's street images are nearly always black and white, and are not posed or set up.  Paul Crespel does not use Photoshop; the images he exhibits are as they came out of the camera, with only a little adjustment of overall contrast and luminosity.
